Role Overview:

The AWS Engineer plays an essential role in the architecture, development, and operation of applications hosted on the Amazon Web Services platform. With a profound mastery of AWS’s comprehensive service offerings, this individual guarantees the organization’s cloud-based assets are safeguarded, functioning effectively, and serving the company’s operative goals.

Principal Functions:

– Cloud Infrastructure Administration: Administer and fine-tune the AWS application deployment, focusing on sustaining system accessibility and constructing scalable solutions that are resistant to failure.

– System Architecture & Software Development:

Forge the foundational AWS infrastructure with a focus on service-oriented blueprinting. Create and execute automation scripts for client/server tasks and for enhancing efficiency in cloud operations.

– Security & Regulatory Adherence:

Oversee security frameworks and compliance measures within AWS configurations, verifying consistency with organizational security mandates.

– Diagnostic & Customer Assistance:

Supply technical aid across AWS platforms and expeditiously rectify any complications concerning AWS-hosted applications.

– Cost & Performance Management:

Track and govern AWS resource consumption with the aim of achieving financial prudence and resource optimization.

– Collaborative Engineering Efforts:

Collaborate intimately with software development and IT operations teams to craft and sustain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) mechanisms, and to bolster the launch of both microservices and serverless solutions.
