I’m reaching out to share a fantastic opportunity for Solution Architect position with the New York Department of Social Services in Brooklyn, NY.

Position Title: Solution Architect
Location: Brooklyn, NY (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months (Possible extension)
Tax Terms: C2C
Work Authorization: No OPT/H1B
End Client: New York Department of Social Services
Tier: Working with Prime Vendor

Project Description:
This project is part of the Current NYC initiative, aimed at enhancing an application that facilitates improved customer service for landlords doing business with HRA. It will enable self-service options, electronic rent payments, and accurate payment processing. The system currently supports CityFHEPS application submissions, eligibility determinations, landlord records, and electronic payments. Significant enhancements are needed to bring the system up to the desired level of efficiency and address key project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data architectures and solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.
• Design and implement solutions supporting business processes, such as document requests, allowances, and other functions.
• Ensure seamless integration with other DSS systems and work closely with integration developers.
• Oversee data governance, quality, and lifecycle management for better data health and reduce duplicate records.
• Optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability, particularly for payment processing, renewals, and claim workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience with System Architecture and Cloud Architecture (Azure, Security Architecture).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in API design, Integrations, and DevOps.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Data Management, Data Security, ETL/ELT, Data Integration, BI tools, Data Pipelines, and Data Warehousing.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Networking Topologies, Architecture Modeling Tools, and Data Modeling & Design

Additional Requirements:

• Must be local to New York and available for an in-person interview.
• No H1B or OPT candidates—U.S. work authorization required.
