Location: Houston, TX–San Antonio, NM (Onsite)

Duration: 12 + Months contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect specializing in Big Data, Hadoop, and Teradata to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data architecture, data management, and cloud-based big data ecosystems, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and performance optimization of enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture with a focus on Big Data, Hadoop, and Teradata.
• Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem components including HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, HBase, Pig, Oozie, and Kafka.
• Expertise in Teradata architecture, performance tuning, and workload management.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Google BigQuery.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages like Java, Python, Scala, or Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of ETL, data integration, and data pipeline orchestration.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks, security protocols, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to design scalable data solutions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.

Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
