Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance and Reinsurance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the insurance domain, coupled with excellent analytical skills to support our business operations and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements related to P&C and Reinsurance processes.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and deliver reports and presentations to communicate findings.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes and systems; propose and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Project Support: Assist in project planning and execution, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.
- Compliance: Ensure that solutions and processes comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to P&C and Reinsurance.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or Reinsurance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of P&C insurance and Reinsurance principles, processes, and systems.
