Job Title: Azure Data Warehouse Architect
Location: Richmond, VA (Onsite 3 Days a Week)
Position Type: Full-Time (Local Candidates Only, Face-to-Face Interview)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Warehouse Architect to join our team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data mapping, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Warehouse, SQL Server, SSIS, and Git repositories. Additionally, experience with Finance ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities:

·       Design and implement Azure Data Warehouse solutions and architecture, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

·       Develop, deploy, and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines and integration workflows.

·       Lead data mapping efforts to ensure accurate data flow across systems.

·       Optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, leveraging SQL Server and SSIS.

·       Manage version control of data architecture and solution files using Git repositories.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, and design appropriate data models and solutions.

·       Ensure best practices are followed in data management, security, and integration processes.

·       Troubleshoot and resolve any data pipeline or data warehouse issues in a timely manner.

·       Participate in client-facing meetings to provide architectural recommendations and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·       Extensive experience in Azure Data Warehouse design, architecture, and implementation.

·       Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory for data orchestration and ETL processes.

·       Solid knowledge of SQL Server and experience working with SSIS.

·       Strong understanding of data mapping principles and practices.

·       Proficiency in managing and utilizing Git repositories for version control.

·       Ability to work on-site in Richmond, VA, 3 days a week.

·       Local candidates only (must be based in the Richmond area or willing to relocate).

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Experience working with Finance ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials, Microsoft Dynamics).

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with teams and clients.
