Job Summary:
The Azure Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure solutions that meet our business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure services, cloud architecture, and best practices for cloud security, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop architectural frameworks and blueprints for cloud adoption, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct cloud readiness assessments and develop cloud migration strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and manage Azure infrastructure services including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure services, features, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Azure services including compute, storage, networking, security, and database.
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with automation and orchestration tools.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and tools.
