Job Description Required:
• 13-15 years’ experience on Apigee and Azure API. Lead the design and implementation of API solutions using Apigee and Azure API Management.
• Must have knowledge on SQL including SP
• Knowledge on Grafana and Terrafarm will added advantage
• API Release & configuration management
• Must know the knowledge of utilizing the DevOps pipelines
• Must know Scrum process
• Develop and enforce API policies for security, rate limiting, and service orchestration.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate APIs with existing business applications and services.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of API solutions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of APIs, from design to deprecation.
• Lead and mentor a team of API developers, promoting best practices in coding and API design.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Monitor API usage, performance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in API management and recommend improvements to our API strategy.

 
 
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a technical lead or senior developer with a focus on Apigee and Azure API Management.
• Strong understanding of API design principles and best practices.
• Experience with API security standards and protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT).
• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to API development (e.g., JavaScript, Python, .NET).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 
Preferred Skills:
• Certifications in Apigee and Azure API Management.
• Experience with other API management tools (e.g., MuleSoft, AWS API Gateway).
• Knowledge of microservices architectures and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
