Active Directory Engineer
Location: Hybrid Monday-Thursday (remote Fridays), 8 AM – 5 PM in Quincy, MA 02171
Duration: 6 months July through December. It is unlikely that this will be extended.
Status: Any Visa
Job Description:
Our client is looking for an experienced Active Directory Engineer to join our team. The professional should be a team player with strong experience and knowledge of Active Directory. They must exhibit excellence in troubleshooting skills and work on security initiatives related to Active Directory. The individual must have a positive attitude towards learning new things, technical and non-technical.
Responsibilities:
- Building and supporting Microsoft Active Directory in large enterprise environments
- Supporting Microsoft ADFS
- Working on security initiatives related to Active Directory
- Collaborating on engineering documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Active Directory infrastructure
- 3 years of experience supporting Microsoft ADFS
- 5 years supporting Microsoft Server in various versions
- Proficiency in DNS WINS
- Strong troubleshooting skills and methodology
- Understanding of ITIL processes including CMDB change controls
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- Ability to work across technology teams when required
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Working Hours:
Full time role, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM with possible weekend work. The candidate will follow a hybrid model, requiring onsite presence 4 days a week in Quincy, MA.
Contract Term: Until the end of September 2024, with no expected extensions.
Application Process: Candidates will undergo 1-2 rounds of interviews, beginning with Zoom calls and potentially followed by face-to-face meetings, if deemed necessary.
How We Support Your Professional Growth: You will be provided training wherein you will shadow existing resources working on the project to understand the process and procedures.
Day-to-day activities will vary based on the project requirements. The person will be a key player in our Enterprise Resiliency initiative.
