Job Description –
- The project manager will be working on EHR project.
- Duties will include the creation of all necessary project documentation such as business case workbooks, project charters and schedule, biennial operating plans and amendments, requirements gathering, coordination, reporting, planning, researching, coordinating and evaluating project management implementation, developing implementation plan, managing application/data migration efforts, assuring the use of best practices and standards, assisting in the coordination and optimization of HHSC operations and program functions and providing recommendations.
- The project manager should act as liaison between business users and vendors to provide required information.
- Works under limited direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
- Need to have EHR domain experience and good to have implementation experience. Strong technical knowledge about databases, data migration etc is Must
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in managing multiple projects. Experience in implementing E HR application or similar large application across large organizations. to include developing and managing project plans and documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans.
- Knowledge of database like InterSystems Caché Database, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server. Skill in using MS Project, EXCEL, Word, Visio, Jira and other project management tools.
- Ability to research, gather, assemble, correlate and analyze facts; to devise solutions to problems; and to prepare concise reports and/or to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems and prioritize information and issues.
- Skilled in effectively mapping business processes and identifying process improvements and skilled in planning and facilitating meetings and group problem solving.
- Experience in EHR application domain, application migration, workflow analysis, design, development of SDLC artifacts, support using software engineering practices.
- Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors, vendors and stakeholders. Must possess strong communication, presentation skills and strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to appropriately summarize and escalate issues and develop and present weekly status updates (written and verbal) and conduct regular project team status meetings.
- Experience in Communicating with all stakeholders, vendors, staff, team and leadership on day-to-day activities and also facilitate ownership and understand of project goals and objectives.
- Responsible for day to day operational management of all activities and function in HSCHS area including building implementing, monitoring data, migration, program budget efforts. Providing technical advice and/or oversight to staff.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to lead diverse teams and inspire high productivity and collaboration among team members.
- Provide regular updates on the migration progress to all project stakeholders including immediate managers, leadership, system analysts. Use ticketing systems for information sharing and problem resolution.
- Experience in managing application migration, data mapping, data cleaning efforts.
- Prior experience with SaaS model EHR systems and cloud data migrations.
- Experience with HHSC Federal State processes and documentation, project documentation such as business case workbooks and project charters.
- PMP Certification
- Familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components

**Position will be remote in Texas . Program will allow candidates who are within the state (Any location within the State of Texas).**
The position will be the primary DBA on a Snowflake database. Role is responsible for ensuring stability, security, and dependability of the database, and enforcing all processes and best practices
Minimum Requirements:
- Database administrator on an enterprise scale database.
- Experience on a cloud native database. Snowflake experience strongly Required
- Experience with Public Health Data
- Experience with a Texas State Agency preferred.
- Experience with DSHS preferred.
- Experience interacting with end users Required
- Experience integrating a cloud based database with a system for Single Sign on Required
