Job Title: Oracle Cloud Financials Lead SME

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive knowledge in Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle Cloud Financials modules, focusing on GL (General Ledger) and Budgetary Control, with additional proficiency in AP (Accounts Payable), AR (Accounts Receivable), CM (Cash Management), and FA (Fixed Assets). The ideal candidate should have prior experience in Oracle Cloud Financials implementation and support environments, assuming a leadership role as a SME.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud solutions, specializing in GL and Budgetary Control modules.
Provide technical leadership and expertise in configuring, customizing, and optimizing Oracle Cloud Financials modules to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver high-quality solutions within specified timelines.
Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on best practices, methodologies, and technical aspects of Oracle Cloud Financials.
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities to ensure effective adoption and utilization of Oracle Cloud Financials modules.
Maintain awareness of industry trends and advancements in Oracle Cloud technologies, applying relevant updates and enhancements to optimize system performance.
Support end-users in troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to resolve Oracle Cloud Financials-related problems.
Document technical specifications, configurations, and processes to support ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and system enhancements.
Possess knowledge of Canada taxation principles and regulations, with the ability to apply tax configurations within Oracle Cloud Financials (preferred).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
Over 12 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud modules.
Expertise in GL and Budgetary Control modules within Oracle Cloud Financials is essential.
Strong understanding and practical experience with AP, AR, CM, and FA modules.
Previous experience as a lead SME in Oracle Cloud Financials implementation and support projects.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven leadership capabilities with experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
Ability to work independently and remotely in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Certification in Oracle Cloud Financials or related Oracle certifications (preferred).
