The company is recruiting for a Subject Matter Expert to lead the successful implementation of Workday, Talent Management & Skills. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Global Services Workday product team in the design and implementation of Workday Talent Management, inclusive of integration with third-party solutions. In alignment with the digital strategic plan and Digital HR leadership team, this individual will be responsible for managing the technical work stream for the multi-year roadmap for Workday Talent Management and creating value, and maturing our capabilities in our core Workday platform to support talent acquisition processes. This position is considered a ‘subject matter expert’ with deep experience in the Workday Talent Management module.
In partnership with the IT organization, they ensure that systems meet company standards for security, compliance, and data privacy. This individual will exemplify and foster a culture of process excellence and continuous improvement by maximizing the use of key features, expanding automation, and a focus on driving value for the enterprise with the end-to-end experience at the center of all initiatives. This role will have a close partnership with the HR Global Process Owners, IT, Finance, and the HR Global Services delivery teams in the enablement and adoption of solutions across the HR domain to improve the user experience, reduce cost to serve, and increase efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Led the design and implementation of Workday Talent Management, collaborating with key stakeholders in the HR Digital team, Talent Acquisition, and Global Process Owners to translate business requirements into an effective Workday design aligned with strategic objectives and employee experience standards.
- Configure Workday to support talent acquisition strategies globally, considering candidates, employees, people managers, service center teams, and enabling teams.
- Drives the planning, development, testing, and implementation of business requirements within Workday Talent Management.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on Workday Talent Management, demonstrating a deep understanding of touch points within the Workday Platform, integrations, and migration strategy.
- Stay informed about new functionality, and Workday’s future roadmap, and align them with the company’s strategy.
- Challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement solutions, leveraging employee insights (e.g., automation) and project roadmap.
- Translate systems application strategies and visions into actionable and measurable operational plans to enhance service effectiveness and digital experience.
- Serves as a role model for high-quality customer service; ensures that the needs and expectations of all customers are consistently met or exceeded. Establishes Service Level Agreements (SLAs) where appropriate)
- Ensure that key performance indicators are established, measured, and reported efficiently and effectively for new features and capabilities
- Benchmark and assess industry trends to inform and provide insights into the product roadmap.
What you need:
- Experience as a Workday product owner, leading teams through an agile methodology to build digital products
- Experience implementing integrated digital talent acquisition products to drive automation, end-to-end efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and a strong emphasis on user experience.
- Ability to establish a culture focused on speed, accountability, and continuous improvement while building employee-centric repeatable, and sustainable processes
- Strong understanding of data mapping between Workday and candidate tools, and knowledge of Intelligent Automation, Workday Security, and Reporting for designing the required Workday Management setup.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to operate globally with understanding and appreciation for regional differences
- Ability to analyze HR business processes and understand potential data impacts, timing of when data needs to be sent, and data quality.
- Ability to excel operating in a complex, cross-functional organization where you must use your business acumen and influencing skills to problem solve and collaborate across many teams
- Track record to drive business results where you have repeatedly identified and capitalized on opportunities, identified risks/issues, assessed implications, formulated recommendations, and drove sound data-driven decisions

Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive relevant experience is required; concentration in HR Application Management, HR Information Systems, HR Infrastructure, and/or HR Technology Business Requirements preferred.
- Experience implementing Workday Talent Management, Workday Skills, and Workday Recruit.
- Project Management Certification is preferred.
- People Management experience is required.
- Experience working in a global environment is required.
- Strong leadership skills; operates as a global leader with understanding and appreciation for regional differences required. Effective communication across Global Services, Technology, HR, and Talent Acquisition functions.
- Experience managing external vendors, internal relationships, coaching, and collaboration skills, with leaders at all levels and key stakeholders required.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the integration process, and should be proactive in identifying and addressing potential problems with stakeholders.
- Strong Collaboration Skills with stakeholders to ensure that all are educated on the topics, and functionality and have a voice in the solution.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence peers and build strong relationships across HR, Payroll, and cross-functionally.
- Budget management and understanding the complex organizational factors in the development of HR solutions are required.
- This position may require up to 25% domestic and/or international travel required.
