JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities

•    Develop and Maintain application and system stability and availability at highest level through continuous testing & tuning.•    Develop and support application performance test strategies, workload mix, test execution & result analysis for all system & application changes and perform tuning to get optimal throughput. •    Implement world-class monitoring, alerting, and self-healing capabilities by applying industry best practices.•    Lead RCA efforts with an eye towards actionable outcomes and continuous learning.•    Diagnose & resolve issue across applications including cross application dependencies.•    Develop and implement Akamai CDN and Security changes for non-prod and production environment and automated those changed to environments using CICD pipeline.•    Perform quarterly access audits on Tools and Akamai to remove the unwanted users and keep the access level appropriate to reduce security risks. •    Develop and support automation & Integration of performance Testing with CICD pipeline.•    Partners with the analysts, Architects & Lead developers to review and refine design requirements to maintain the core system performance standards.•    Work with Info security team to review all the application security issues and gaps and partner with development team to release security fixes on continuous basis to resolve issues on priority basis.•    Share a 24×7 On-Call rotation with your team and respond to service incidents & lead the team on critical production issue bridges with vendors and internal team to triage, recover and resolve issues on timely manner. •    Works with Enterprise teams to ensure changes are properly documented, communicated, audited, and deployed in compliance with established procedures.

Basic Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree or 4-year equivalent required. College degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.•    5+ years of experience in building & supporting a highly available system in physical or cloud-based hosting locations like AWS, Azure is plus.  •    3+ years of development & Performance tuning experience in at least one of these technologies such as IBM’s WebSphere Commerce Suite, enterprise Java technologies is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

•    Strong knowledge of WebSphere Commerce v7.x/v9.x application development.•    Strong knowledge of profiling tools, memory management, load testing and performance tuning.•    Strong knowledge of web application development using enterprise Java technologies and frameworks.•    Strong knowledge of load testing and system profiling using Dynatrace/App Dynamic is preferred. •    Strong familiarity with presentation layer technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery & react is preferred.•    Strong knowledge in Front End performance analysis and optimizations for web applications.•    Experience with distributed caching, CDN caching strategies is preferred.•    Experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, App Dynamic and New Relic is preferred.•    Experience with container technologies is preferred.•    Strong ability to create load test work mix based on analytics data is preferred. •    Ability to work independently, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time with minimal direction is preferred. •    Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and to work with a distributed team.•    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. •    Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to use proven problem-solving approaches to most solutions.•    Experience in application and infrastructure security tools (e.g., white hat) is a plus.•    Strong knowledge of website tag management is a plus. •    Experience using log management tools such as Splunk, ELK is a strong plus.•    Experience with build, release and deployment processes is a plus.•    Retail experience is a plus. •    Developer certification in WebSphere Commerce is a plus.
