Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced software professional who is proficient in Python development within Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. The ideal candidate must possess both a strong technical background in Python programming and a deep understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure. As a Senior Python AWS Developer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement robust backend services and APIs using Python.
2. Develop and maintain cloud-native applications on the AWS platform.
3. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
4. Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and services.
5. Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, and DynamoDB to build serverless architectures and manage data storage solutions.
6. Apply best practices in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for deployment.
7. Collaborate with front-end developers and product management to meet project goals.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the production environment.
9. Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s knowledge base.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
– Minimum 5 years of experience in Python development.
– Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
– Solid proficiency in serverless computing and microservices architecture.
– Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
– Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
– Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
– Strong understanding of agile methodologies and project management tools.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
– AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps.
– Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
– Exposure to front-end technologies like JavaScript, Angular, React, or Vue.js.
– Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and CI/CD practices.
Educational Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
– Master’s degree or other advanced certification is a plus.
