Position: Validation engineer

Location: Mossville, IL( Onsite)

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Interview Process: Video

Job Description:

Education & Experience Required:
– Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) curriculum
– 9+ years of experience desired, 5 years of experience required
– Master’s or Doctorate can potentially decrease experience required
– Previous product development experience (design, validation/test or analysis)

Technical Skills
(Required)
– Experience with electric drive systems and/or components, with focus on electric induction motor and generator and resistor grids.
– Experience with structured FMEA & DVP&R process.
– Experience with NPI Issue resolution process.

(Desired)
– Experience with company NPI Programs and Processes.

Soft Skills
(Required)
– Strong communication skills.
– Self-starter with strong technical leadership skills.
– Demonstrated ability to lead teams through complex assignments.
– Excellent analytical skills.
– Solid organizational and facilitation skills.

Disqualifiers/Red Flags:
– Does not work well in a fast-paced team environment.
– Does not handle multiple projects simultaneously.
– Uncomfortable communicating risks to upper management.
