Position Title: Kafka Architect

Location: Bolingbrook, IL (Remote)

Role Type: Contract

Job Description:

·         Design and implement Kafka based EDA (Event Driven Architecture) platform to support various integration use cases ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

·         Experience defining large scale Enterprise Integration strategy leveraging Kafka.

·         Define and establish best practices and guidelines for Kafka development, security, and operations.

·         Design Kafka deployment architecture having hands on experience in deployment and configurations on Kafka.

·         Experience working in a Hybrid Multi Cloud Environment with GCP as primary Hyperscaler.

·         Experience in Kafka platform ecosystem – clusters, brokers, producers/consumers, Kafka connect, streams, KSQL, admin APIs, Kafka connect framework, source/sink connectors etc.

·         Experience working in Agile Development environment.

·         Experience working in retail domain is a plus.

·         Any relevant certifications on Kafka, GCP are a plus.
