• Tier: Prime Vendor Partnership
• Interview: On-site/In-person (Completion of on-site interview is required)

Job Description Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Engineer to join our Middleware/API Engineering team. This team is responsible for building Customer-facing Omni Channel Services to enhance user experience and ensure seamless service delivery.

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience in Java/Functional programming
• Proficiency with Cloud Stack and Microsoft Azure
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of JSON and web service technologies

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply design patterns to build scalable and high-performance applications/features
• Write efficient code, conduct unit tests, automation, and code reviews
• Manage deployments to production and drive DevOps processes
• Collaborate with product managers to prioritize features and manage technical requirements based on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
• Generate and refine proof of concepts based on team feedback
• Keep pace with emerging standards and advocate for best practices
• Banking domain experience is a plus, but not a requirement

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of Java/functional programming experience
• Strong understanding of JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structure fundamentals
• Familiarity with design concepts and design patterns
• Kotlin proficiency
• At least 2 years of experience with Cloud stack and Microsoft Azure
• Proven experience designing and supporting customer-facing RESTful APIs
• Experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders, product managers, and experience owners
• Experience with CICD tools and DevOps
