Role: Network Engineer – SD-WAN Design.
Location: Remote- Travel required on demand to NYC/NJ
Rate: $60-65/Hr – All Inclusive.
Must share passport Number and LinkedIn with references.
Skills
- This role is customer-facing and requires strong knowledge of Cisco Viptela including related implementation and migration experience
- At least 8+ years of experience deploying, and implementing core route/switch and/or data center networks in accordance with industry best practices
- SD-WAN (IWAN, Viptela) implementation and migration experience
- Must have strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative and dynamic environment
- Must have strong customer service orientation with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with logical design models (L2/L3, VPC, VDC, Datacenter Zones, Spanning tree, VFR, VTP, VLANs, physical cabling)
- Working technical knowledge of network control protocols (QOS, PfR, PoE, NTP, DHCP), network management protocols (CDP, FTP, TFTP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec, TustSec)
- Strong knowledge of IP communication and routing is required (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Understand WAN/LAN and transport technologies (Ethernet, DMVPN, WAAS and MPLS)
