Job Title: LTE Broadband Engineer
Location: Dallas TX 75202 – Day 1 Onsite
Duration: (6+ Month)
Job Description:
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Ericsson virtualized 4G/5G mobile packet core architecture
- Experience in detailed design phase of EPC projects including developing the CIQ, HLD, and LLD
- Design technical acceptance (TA) test procedures and Method of Procedures (MOPs)
- Experience writing and formalizing best practice documents
- Strong ability to troubleshoot complex core, transport, and RAN network issues including the analysis of end-to-end call flows and layer 2/3 messaging
- Define and monitor end-to-end Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), making sure that the correct counters and measurement settings are used
- Propose new KPIs, measurements, and counters
- Life cycle management of the EPC including configuration management and evolution planning
- Prepare Engineering drawings and presentations using MS Visio and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of cyber security concepts and applications as they relate to the EPC and the overall LTE network
- Ability to provide operational support for all 4G/5G network elements
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in IP/MPLS network architecture and routing protocols
- Validation of network performance after Software upgrades, system configuration changes and new feature deployments
- Strong knowledge of 3GPP Standards
