Data Analyst (Level 2 – Junior candidate with 3-4 years of total exp would be best) -TOP PRIORITY
Current Team: 12 Data Analysts (half remote, half local)
Top 3 Skills: Python or R, SQL, Power BI (DAX expertise)
Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM ET
Location: Must be in Cincinnati, onsite M/T/W, and TH starting 4/1
Interview Process: Phone call → Assessment → Panel interview
Prescreening: 3 unique questions; no prior scores transfer
Requirements:
- Experience with gathering, analyzing, and transforming large data sets from multiple databases, platforms, and vendors
- Proficiency in data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling
- Expertise in Power BI and other data visualization tools for building and maintaining custom reports and dashboards
- Experience implementing row-level security in Power BI to ensure secure report access based on job levels and locations
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends, correlations, and opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities and improve processes
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and support strategic objectives
- Proven ability to identify and communicate data-related issues and recommendations effectively
- Strong communication skills to provide data insights and solutions to leaders for decision-making
Nice to Have
- Experience with automating reporting processes and implementing advanced features in Power BI or similar tools
- Familiarity with predictive analytics techniques to support data-driven decision-making
- Knowledge of data governance and best practices for ensuring data quality and security
Previous experience working with retail operations or similar industries
