Position Title: UAT Scrum Master (Testing)

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)

Role Type: Contract

Implementation Partner: HCL America

Job Description:

1. Lead UAT Planning and Execution:

·         Develop and implement UAT strategies, plans, and schedules.

·         Coordinate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define UAT scope and objectives.

·         Ensure all UAT activities are aligned with project timelines and deliverables.

2. Stakeholder Management:

·         Act as the primary point of contact between business users and IT teams.

·         Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and expectations.

·         Provide regular updates on UAT progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.

3. Defect Management:

·         Track and manage defects identified during UAT.

·         Work with IT teams to prioritize and resolve defects in a timely manner.

·         Ensure all defects are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

·         Lead and mentor a UAT business leads, providing guidance and support.

·         Conduct enablement sessions to enhance the team’s testing skills and knowledge.

·         Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

5. Continuous Improvement:

·         Identify opportunities to improve UAT processes and methodologies.

·         Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

·         Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and techniques.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

·         Proven experience in leading UAT efforts for complex software projects.

·         Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

·         Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

·         Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

·         Proficiency in using analysis tools and testing software.

Preferred Skills:

·         Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

·         Familiarity with automated testing tools and techniques.
