Description/Requirements:
– Deliver Personalized video platform features such as ML-driven personalized content and advertisement recommendations, the Continue Watching experience, the Play List experience and build core video platform personalization infrastructure for the EntOS platform / XUMO JV TV.
– Develops features for video platform software to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements.
– Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
– Performs a variety of tasks.
– Works under general supervision.
– Monitor and maintain operational readiness of applications hosted in Kubernetes deployments.
– Configure and test changes to system including reports, security access, and workflow.
– Perform/Coordinate configuration changes to the production environment.
– Work closely with data scientists, quality engineers, and platform team members to deliver end-to-end personalization product features and monitor their performance with metrics.
Skills and Technologies:
– A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or in a related area and/or 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in industry
– Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others in a highly dynamic environment, while working to achieve desired outcomes
– Experience in data engineering workflows, specifically, working with Databricks and/or Apache Spark (or related technologies) to build ML pipelines
– Experience in building highly scalable distributed web services (REST and GRPC)
– Experience with both Java and Scala preferred; ZIO experience a plus
– Experience with Kubernetes, observability, and performance optimization of distributed systems running in container environments
– Experience in Amazon Web Service’s public cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code a plus
Compensation Per Hour:
44$ Per hour
