Experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on IT migration, cloud adoption, and/or workload migration.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and workload migration tools.

Experience with different migration strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, re-factoring, hybrid) and their associated challenges. |
|
|
|
Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and data center operations.
|
|
|
|
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools eg (Jira, Confluence, etc.). |
|
|
|
Certifications if any :
|
|
|
Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on IT migration, cloud adoption, and/or workload migration.
Certifications (Preferred)
• Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP).
• Agile or Scrum certifications (CSM, SAFe).
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure)
Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and data center operations.
• Experience with different migration strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, re-factoring, hybrid) and their associated challenges.
Migration Business Analyst
• Experience with IT service management, change management, and ITIL principles.
• Ability to document business requirements, functional specifications, and technical requirements in a clear and structured manner.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and challenges in migration projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and workload migration tools.
• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft
Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) or ITIL.
• Familiarity with data migration strategies and tools.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• Familiarity with application lifecycle management and systems integration.
General Skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to address migration challenges.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and a dynamic project environment.
