Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role with exposure to project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile
• Expertise in designing and implementing scalable and secure data solutions using Azure data services (Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Databricks)
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, including Azure Active Directory, network security groups, and encryption services
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a process-oriented mindset
• Proven ability to work independently under tight deadlines in high-priority situations
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage conflict effectively
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities with adaptability and openness to feedback
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Commitment to ongoing professional training (minimum of 40 hours annually, including 10 hours specific to this role)
Nice to Have
• ITIL v3 or v4 certification
• Familiarity with utility industry practices and standards
• Experience with statistical analysis or BI tools for data visualization
• Advanced knowledge of building custom metrics and calculations
• Experience in customer journey analytics
Job Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, refine, and enhance data architecture to support business growth
- Guide teams on analytics best practices, ensuring consistency and accuracy across implementations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and data innovation through actionable insights
