Role:                Lead Snowflake Developer

Location:         Seattle WA (Onsite)

Year of Experience : 10 Years

 Rate : 60/hr on C2C

Job Description:

  • At least at least 10 years of software development experience, and minimum 5 years of experience on Snowflake development in AWS
  • Snowflake data engineers will be responsible for supporting data intelligence solutions around Snowflake Data Warehouse.
  • A solid experience and understanding of architecting, designing and operationalization of large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse is a must.
  • Snowflake SQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake, developing scripts in python to do Extract, Load, and Transform data
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures.
  • In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept and modelling structure principles
  • Understanding data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done
  • Experience in Data warehousing – OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modelling.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
  • Developing ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination of Python and Snowflakes SnowSQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake
