Front End Web Developer with ArcGIS || Austin, TX (Hybrid) || No H1b/OPT
End-client: TXDoT || working with a Prime Vendor
 
This Front-End Web Developer role with ArcGIS experience is required for a long-term contract role in Austin, TX. It is a Hybrid role in Austin, TX. Please share the resume if you have any consultants available for this role.
 
Work to be accomplished:
The Front-End Web Developer at this level will
  • Work as part of a Scrum Team
  • Complete user stories, bugs, and technical debt
  • Review and modify code for front-end modules and tools
  • Design and build new features, functionality, and modules
  • Evaluate user requests for new features/functionality and provide any necessary technical assistance
  • Monitor application performance and recommend/implement efficiency improvements
  • Help resolve security risks and vulnerabilities
  • Publish, tune, and troubleshoot ArcGIS Server map services

 

Minimum Yrs of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

4-7+ years

  • JavaScript
  • TypeScript
  • HTML5, CSS
  • Vue/Vuetify (preferably 2 & 3) or like frameworks
  • ESRI ArcGIS
  • JavaScript API (version 3.x and 4.x)
  • ArcSDE
  • IDEs/tools (Eclipse, Visual Studio, IntelliJ)
  • Version control systems (Azure DevOps, GIT)

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  1. Azure DevOps (project management, user stories/bugs/test cases, etc.)
  2. Agile methodology
  3. Java
  4. Java, J2EE, Spring Ecosystem (Core, MVC, Boot, and Batch) with Maven as a build tool
  5. ORM (Hibernate, Ibatis/ Mybatis)
  6. Workflow engines (JBPM, Activiti) and Drools rules engine
  7. Web application servers like Tomcat
  • Monitoring
  • AppDynamics
  • ArcGIS Monitor

 

Nice to have:

  1. Oracle
  • Oracle Spatial (dynamic segmentation, LRS)
  • PL/SQL
  1. ArcGIS Server
  • Configuration and troubleshooting
  • Map service publishing, tuning, and troubleshooting
  1. ESRI APIs:
  • ArcGIS API for Python
  • ArcPy
  • ArcGIS Rest API
  1. FME Angular JS, Angular 17 and above
  2. Angular JS, Angular 17, and above
