Location: Torrance, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Client: TCS

Job Description:

• Automation of PS Queries into an Application Engine program.
• Import GL data from a vendor into the General Ledger. Includes error handling and header to detail validation row checks.
• Creation of Application Engine program to feed other applications.
• This is a nice to have: Ability to function as an L3 production support resource with in depth knowledge of the 3 modules stated above.

Essential Skills:

• PeopleSoft Application Developero What type of interfaces has the resource created
• Has the resource imported data from a flat file into the GL application
• Has the resource exported GL data into a flat file
• PeopleSoft General Ledgero Does the resource understand how the subledger data flows into the GL
• Does the resource understand the main GL tables behind the application
• PeopleSoft Asset Managemento Does the resource understand the AM closing process and how the data flows into the GL
• Does the resource understand the main AM tables behind the application
• PeopleSoft Accounts Payableo Does the resource understand the AP closing process and how the data flows into the GL
• Does the resource understand the main AP tables behind the application
• PeopleSoft PS Query
• Oracle SQL

Education bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline
