Role: NETWORK ENGINEER (CCIE)

Visa: NOH1B

Location: Hybrid — New YORK, (NY)

Duration: 12+ Months

 

MUST HAVE – (Active CCIE Certification)

CCIE Engineer / Cisco Sales

 

1.            CCIE engineer

•             Active CCIE certificate – must be attached and should be valid

•             Advanced knowledge of enterprise networking: LAN, WAN, MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN.

•             Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco devices (routers, switches, firewalls).

•             Strong experience with Cisco IOS, NX-OS, ASA, and Firepower Threat Defense (FTD).

•             Network security architecture: firewalls, intrusion prevention, access control.

•             Proficiency with Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA Center, and ACI.

•             Hands-on experience with tools for monitoring/troubleshooting (Wireshark, NetFlow, SolarWinds).

•             Advanced troubleshooting of complex networking issues, network optimization, and escalation support.

•             Ability to develop high-level and low-level design documentation.

 

2.            Cisco Pre-sales Engineer

•             Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent specialization.

•             Strong knowledge of Cisco solutions (Enterprise Networking, Collaboration, Security, Data Center).

•             Ability to conduct discovery meetings with clients to assess their business and technical requirements.

•             Design of network diagrams, solution architectures, and Proof of Concept (PoC) demonstrations.

•             Ability to present technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

•             Development of technical proposals and Bill of Materials (BoM).

•             Proficiency with Cisco tools such as CCW (Cisco Commerce Workspace), DNA Center, and Cisco portfolio management tools.

 

3.            Cisco post-sales Engineer

•             CCNP or higher-level certifications; CCIE is a plus.

•             Hands-on experience in deploying Cisco enterprise solutions:

o             Routing/Switching (Catalyst and Nexus platforms).

o             Security (Cisco ASA, Firepower, ISE).

o             Collaboration solutions (CUCM, Webex, Voice Gateways).

o             Data Center solutions (ACI, UCS, HyperFlex).

•             Strong troubleshooting and escalation support experience post-implementation.

•             Ability to integrate Cisco technologies into client environments.

•             Conduct system testing, performance tuning, and provide ongoing support.

•             Post-sales support and knowledge transfer to end-user IT teams.

•             Create and deliver detailed documentation (operational manuals, network handover).

 

4.            Cisco Inside Engineer

•             Cisco CCNA or CCNP (or equivalent knowledge).

•             Proficient in Cisco enterprise technologies: Routing/Switching, Security, and Collaboration.

•             Provide remote design and technical validation support for solutions.

•             Strong knowledge of Cisco tools for quoting and configuration (Cisco CCW).

•             Troubleshoot client technical requirements or gaps in the design.

•             Excellent phone and email communication skills for direct client engagements

 

5.            Cisco Outside Sales

•             Cisco Sales Expert (CSE) or equivalent Cisco Sales training

•             Deep understanding of Cisco solutions portfolio, including Networking, Security, Collaboration, and Data Center.

•             Ability to conduct client meetings, identify business pain points, and position value-driven Cisco solutions.

•             Develop and execute territory and account growth plans.

•             Work closely with Cisco Pre-Sales, Post-Sales, and Inside Engineering teams to ensure seamless sales and implementation processes.

•             Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Cisco configuration tools (CCW), and partner sales platforms.
