Job Title: SAP EWM Consultant
Work Location: Remote (acceptable)

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in EWM implementations, configurations, and optimizations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in backorder processing, delivery due list management, sales orders, delivery splitting, and credit management. This role demands strong functional and technical skills in SAP EWM within an S/4 HANA environment, with a focus on enhancing warehouse and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP EWM Expertise:

   • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions.
   • Optimize inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
   • Configure and manage delivery processes, including backorder processing, delivery due list, and delivery splitting.

2. Integration and Functional Support:

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, TM, and FICO) for seamless module integration.
   • Support the implementation of processes related to sales orders and credit management.
   • Ensure integration with SAP Transportation Management and other logistics modules.

3. Customization and Configuration:

   • Analyze and map business requirements to SAP EWM functionalities.
   • Customize warehouse structures, storage types, and process codes to meet business needs.
   • Perform enhancements and troubleshoot issues related to STO, inventory management, and warehouse layouts.

4. Testing and Support:

   • Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
   • Provide hyper-care support post-go-live to ensure smooth operations.

5. Documentation and Training:

   • Prepare functional specifications, training manuals, and end-user documentation.
   • Train users on EWM processes and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Technical Expertise:

   • 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM with a proven track record in implementations and optimizations.
   • Strong knowledge of S/4 HANA EWM, including inbound, outbound, and internal processes.
   • Expertise in backorder processing, delivery due list, delivery splitting, and credit management.
   • Proficiency in handling STO, exception codes, and advanced inventory management strategies.

2. Integration Knowledge:

   • Cross-functional experience with SAP MM, SD, TM, and FICO modules.
   • Familiarity with EWM-TM integration and warehouse analytics.

3. Functional and Technical Skills:

   • Configuration of warehouse processes, layouts, and RF scanners.
   • Experience with IDOCs, QRFC, and debugging tools like ABAP (preferred).
   • Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications.

4. Soft Skills:

   • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
   • Strong communication skills for user training and stakeholder management.

5. Certifications (Preferred):

   • SAP Certified EWM with S/4 HANA.
