Job Description: Fullstack Java Architect
Location: San Ramon, CA (Hybrid only local)
Type: Contract (12+ months)
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Architect to design and implement scalable, user-centric applications for a retail client. This role involves a 60% focus on frontend development and 40% on backend solutions, ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Frontend (60%):
- Develop responsive and high-performance user interfaces using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Ensure code adheres to usability, accessibility, and performance standards.
- Backend (40%):
- Build and optimize APIs and microservices using Node.js, Java, or Python.
- Design scalable backend solutions to support frontend requirements.
- Lead architectural design and establish development best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with business goals.
- Mentor and guide developers to maintain high-quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience with a strong emphasis on fullstack architecture.
- Expertise in frontend technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend systems (Node.js, Java, Python).
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in the retail domain.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
