Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

Tools/Technology (Mandatory): Perforce(P4), GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Docker/Containerization

Description:

CI/CD Pipeline Development:

    • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating the software build, test, and deployment processes.
    • Integrate CI/CD pipelines with source code management tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket) and deployment environments (e.g., Kubernetes, cloud platforms).

Automation and Orchestration:

    • Automate build, test, and deployment workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
    • Implement infrastructure as code solutions to support consistent and repeatable deployments.

Monitoring and Optimization:

    • Monitor the performance of CI/CD pipelines and resolve bottlenecks or failures.
    • Optimize pipelines for speed, reliability, and scalability across multiple environments.

Collaboration and Support:

    • Work closely with development teams to ensure proper version control and build processes.
    • Collaborate with QA and operations teams to integrate automated testing and deployments.

Tooling and Configuration Management:

    • Configure and manage CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI.
    • Integrate tools for static code analysis, security scanning, and performance testing within the pipeline.

Troubleshooting and Debugging:

    • Identify and resolve issues in CI/CD pipelines, including build failures, test failures, and deployment errors.
    • Provide support to development teams for build and deployment troubleshooting.

Security and Compliance:

    • Implement security best practices within the CI/CD pipelines (e.g., secrets management, vulnerability scans).
    • Ensure CI/CD processes adhere to compliance and regulatory standards.

Continuous Improvement:

    • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance CI/CD processes and workflows.
    • Stay up to date with emerging CI/CD technologies and practices, recommending improvements to the team.

 

 

Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
