Role – Senior MacOS/Apple Engineer
Location – NY (Hybrid 4 days a week)
Job Description-
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, Implement and Maintain engineering solutions for Apple hardware within a Windows centric infrastructure.
· Maintain and manage macOS devices using Microsoft Intune, keeping systems secure, up-to-date, and running smoothly.
· Develop and maintain shell and PowerShell scripts to automate device management tasks and streamline executive user experiences.
· Collaborate closely with executive staff to understand their technical needs and deliver personalized, effective solutions.
· Work on escalated incidents and open and track vendor support cases.
· Deliver high-level, technical support to executives, ensuring minimal downtime and a superior experience with their macOS devices.
· Proactively seek out and implement enhancements to the macOS support framework to better serve the executive team.
· Lead and support technology projects, assessing and introducing new software and hardware solutions where appropriate.
· Generate comprehensive documentation detailing IT support protocols, system configurations, and processes for L1 and L2 support teams.
· Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information.
· Collaborate with the IT team to maintain consistency and share best practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
· 4+ years of professional experience in the same domain.
· A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
· Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting macOS in both JAMF and Microsoft Intune environments.
· Expertise in shell scripting, macOS system administration, and automation techniques.
· A proven history of providing direct technical support to executive staff, with a focus on problem-solving and user satisfaction.
· Familiarity with Intune, Platform SSO and DevOps methodologies, and collaborative coding workflows.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills capable of engaging effectively with executive-level staff.
· The capacity to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and respond to executive needs outside standard business hours as needed.
· Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
· Cross-platform support experience, including iOS and Windows environments.
· Deep understanding of network and security principles applicable to macOS and mobile devices.
Position Type: Contingent / Contract, 4 days on-site (Hudson Yards / World Trade Center)
