Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with a strong background in Oracle EBS and OTC (Order to Cash) functionality to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, enhance database performance, and support the maintenance of Oracle applications. You will work closely with both functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and provide support for production issues. Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS backend tables and functional experience in the areas of OTC is required.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages, and triggers.

·       Optimize SQL queries to ensure maximum performance and scalability.

·       Collaborate with business users to analyze requirements and design technical solutions.

·       Perform database administration tasks such as backups, restores, and data migration.

·       Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring quick resolution.

·       Ensure data security and compliance with Canon's internal policies and standards.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Process Reengineering, Development) to deliver high-quality solutions.

·       Participate in code reviews and solution design sessions.

·       Escalate issues and report project progress to management.

·       Handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

·       5+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.

·       Strong proficiency in SQL programming, with experience in performance tuning.

·       Experience with database administration and troubleshooting.

·       Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS backend tables and functional knowledge in OTC.

·       Familiarity with the Oracle EBS front-end functionality (forms).

·       Experience working within SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

·       Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

·       Ability to work with both functional teams and business users.

·       Java/JSP experience is a plus.

·       Experience in Finance/Accounting is a plus.

·       Oracle Certification preferred.

Work Environment & Expectations:

·       Hybrid schedule: 2 days in the office at Canon's Jamesburg, NJ location (subject to change based on company policy).

·       Adherence to Canon Workplace Style and compliance with internal policies.
