Job Description:
We are seeking a Product Owner/Portfolio Manager with a focus on AI/ML. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or, in lieu of a degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience beyond the required experience.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner.
• At least 1-2 AI product implementations as a Product Owner, with hands-on experience in implementing AI products from scratch.
• Strong experience with Agile processes and principles, particularly in AI product development.
• Prior experience managing a portfolio of AI implementation projects, including capturing information, discussing ideas, and driving conclusions to implement AI products across departments.
• Hands-on involvement in guiding the product portfolio to completion with team members.
• Expertise in capturing AI requirements/use cases and implementing AI into established environments lacking AI services.
• Experience with AI planning and the implementation of Generative AI (preferred).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present AI implementation updates to stakeholders and upper management.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity to emerging AI initiatives.
• Capability to balance long-term strategy with short-term execution, ensuring incremental delivery of AI projects with measurable outcomes.
• Proven experience in AI product development or supporting AI department strategy and planning.
• In-depth knowledge of AI and Generative AI technologies, trends, and business requirements.
• Strong presentation skills to deliver compelling AI use cases, feasibility studies, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in department-level planning, particularly in data science, AI, or related technical fields, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Expertise in identifying and prioritizing AI use cases across multiple business units and translating them into actionable plans and product requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess AI opportunities, risks, and feasibility.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, business stakeholders) to align product goals with AI strategies.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe), particularly in integrating AI solutions within product planning and delivery cycles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous healthcare experience.
• Relevant Agile and/or Product Owner certifications.
