Join our client as a Information Security Analysts for a contract to hire position! You will be responsible for planning and executing security measures that safeguard an organization’s computer networks and systems. Their role is critical in preventing data breaches, cyberattacks, and other digital security threats.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Assessment: Anticipate potential information security risks and vulnerabilities in computer systems and networks.

· Security Implementation: Develop and implement robust security protocols and defenses to protect against data breaches and cyberattacks.

· Monitoring Systems: Continuously monitor the organization’s networks for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur.

· Incident Response: Respond to security incidents quickly, mitigating damage and ensuring recovery processes are carried out effectively.

· Security Enhancements: Research and recommend new technologies and methods to enhance security posture.

· Compliance and Standards: Ensure that the organization adheres to relevant regulations and industry standards.

· Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports documenting security incidents and measures taken. Maintain logs of security breaches and system vulnerabilities.

· Employee Training: Conduct training sessions to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and how to identify potential threats.

· Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, management, and external parties to coordinate and maintain security protocols.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Strong knowledge of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.

· Proficiency in various security tools and software.

· Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to respond quickly and effectively to security incidents.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are often preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for education in some cases.

· Medical provider or insurance knowledgeable. Familiar with HIPAA and HiTrust compliance

· This role is essential for protecting sensitive data and maintaining the integrity of an organization’s technological infrastructure.

· Good to have a good handle on Python and Java.
