Minimum Qualifications:
The VMWare Windows Systems Administrator Core Responsibilities:
Lead and provide pivotal support for virtualization , storage, and backup operations .
Oversee the deployment and management of premier storage solutions like Client 3 Par , StoreOne, Nimble, and Alletra, while also setting up, fine – tuning , and supervising Storage Area Networks ( SAN ) and Brocade Fiber Channel Switch .
Exhibit hands – on experience in launching ESXi on Client DL 380 servers and skillfully updating ESXi servers and vCenters .
Ensure maintenance and support for crucial data center hardware such as HPE BladeSystem c 7000 ,HPE Synergy, SPAR StoreServ, and HPE OneView.
Dive deep into a spectrum of technologies , spanning from HPE hardware to Nutanix, Veeam, Microsoft, Linux, and VMware..
Carry out responsibilities associated with provisioning , updating , and decommissioning virtual servers.
Lead the development , optimization , and maintenance of client desktop images, ensuring effective software distribution and patch management.
Patching of servers and workstations from SCCM .
Implement and manage Group Policy using tools like SCCM and Intune .
Document and maintain operational procedures surrounding SCCM and its use .
Act promptly to diagnose and address any system interruptions or challenges .
Efficiently manage , enhance, and provide support for Active Directory .
May guide junior teammates through problem – solving processes and tackle more intricate technology challenges.
Essential Skills and Expertise:
Proficiency in VMWare vSphere tools, such as vCenter, ESXi, VMs, vSAN , Clustering, DRS, HA , and DV Switches , virtual networking , coupled with adeptness in troubleshooting , provisioning, upgrades , and patching .
Hands – on experience in provisioning , updating , and sunsetting Windows Server OS on virtual servers.
Mastery in managing and troubleshooting SCCM , Intune , Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell.
Proven ability to implement and consolidate Distributed File Systems and Print Servers .
