About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Java Developer with a strong focus on backend development (80% backend, 20% frontend). The ideal candidate is proficient in Java and Angular and demonstrates excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills. A strong personality and cultural fit are highly valued. Financial services experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
· Write and maintain unit test cases adhering to best practices and development standards.
· Collaborate with subject matter experts to review technical designs and specifications.
· Develop high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and tools.
· Provide production support and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
· Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient delivery.
· Maintain documentation and support system design for new components and features.
· Participate in risk and control processes, escalating issues appropriately.
Technical Skills Required
Core Skills:
· Java: Expertise in Core Java and Java EE, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Cloud.
· Frontend: Experience with Angular or similar frameworks (20% of the role).
· Proficiency in building REST/SOAP APIs and working with JSON.
· Familiarity with Microservices architecture and Layered Architecture (SOA/MVC).
· Knowledge of Jenkins pipelines and Tomcat.
Additional Tools & Technologies:
· SCM/DevOps/CI/CD: GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Sonar.
· Testing: Jasmine/Karma, JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, Mockito.
· Database: Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL, with experience in performance optimization.
· Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Solace.
· Containerization/Deployment: Kubernetes/Docker in hybrid environments (on-prem/cloud).
