Key Responsibilities:
? Creates the user-stories related to technical aspects of the procurement, implementation, patches, extensions, or additional support activities that will meet the Definition of Ready.
? Develops proof of concepts for integrations between the Dynamics Platforms and external applications utilizing the Microsoft Azure stack
? Plan and support setting up the infrastructure for data migration into D365 F&O utilizing tools such as the Data Management Framework (DMF) and Azure Data Factory
? Creates technical requirements documentation for D365 F&O to be used by developers during implementation in consultation with the Pre-Implementation Technical Team
? Supports and mentors PTAS project developers during pre-implementation as questions or issues arise in areas such as Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud, D365, etc..
? Develop and communicate PTAS development guidelines for inclusion in the procurement deliverables.
? Manage CI/CD efforts associated with F&O Build, Packaging, Release, & RSAT test-suite automation & execution as part of the preparation of PTAS environments in advance of implementation.
? Document Treasury D365 F&O environment specifications.
? Deploy and/or copy new D365 F&O environments as needed throughout the pre-implementation.
? Engage the project team and Treasury end-users to validate solution architecture and add details as needed for D365 F&O solutions.

In order to effectively discharge this role’s responsibilities:

o Work with the Solution Architect to better understand the technical roadmap that outlines the DOA, Treasury, and KCIT PTAS software portfolio at present and in the future.
o Work with the Treasury Functional Analyst to understand the Treasury business processes and priorities for the project.
o Work with the Solution Architect to understand the KC IT technical priorities for the project.
? Produce technical documentation details including schema definition, data types, message format, transport mechanism, and other information for interface points between the Treasury processes and systems, and the processes and systems of DOA and KC IT in collaboration with the Finance Product Manager.

Experience as an Application Engineering Lead:

o 8+ years’ experience in the Application Engineering Lead or comparable role working on an enterprise solution with 5 years using the Agile framework.
o Proven track record of delivering successful products that achieve key business outcomes.
o Experience with end-to-end product delivery using Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban).
o Strong leadership presence and ability to question the status quo at all levels of the organization.
o Ability to make data driven decisions or fall back on well supported intuition when data is not available.
–  Excellent skill in discussing technology concepts to build consensus by translating between technical and non-technical audiences.

? Experience With Documenting Technical Requirements: As a technical advisor and finance oriented member of the technical team, I must have expert-level expertise in developing and documenting non-functional requirements for financial management and customized systems. Must have experience understanding business workflows, recognizing customer data needs, and be capable of referencing these concepts in analysis deliverables.


? Experience With Requirement Traceability:
Must have experience building sprint backlogs with templates that align with defined Software Development Lifecycle states and statuses. Must understand how to link Epics, Features, and User-Stories to work-items such as Tasks, Bugs, Sprint-Bugs, and Test Cases. Must understand linking test-suites and test-run results to user-stories and features in Azure DevOps. Must be able to trace requirements to release packages and server deployments.
? Experience with Automating D365 F&O Builds and Deployments: Must be able to create and maintain Azure CI/CD pipelines and releases using either Classic tool or YAML and check-in infrastructure code to GIT repos. Must be familiar with using D365 F&O build tasks and configuring settings and variables as needed per environment. Must be comfortable with branching/merging strategies in TFVC and GIT.
? Experience With Modern Visualization Tools: Must have demonstrable experience with 1 or more of the following tools such as: Lucid Charts, Miro, Moqups, Visio, and willing to learn other tools.
? Experience working on D365 PowerApps as well as F&O Solutions: Must be comfortable with X++ and the Application Object Tree (AOT) for navigating F&O customizations. Must also have familiarity with creating Canvas Apps utilizing javascript for customization of the D365 PowerApps user-interface. Must be comfortable providing technical advisory services to vendors and customers related to leading practices for working with the D365 platform.
? Experience with GL, AR, and AP Modules in D365 F&O: Must understand the GL, AR, and AP module functions within AX or the Microsoft D365 F&O platform. Must be able to explain Journal Entries, Chart of Accounts, Allocations, and Inquiries.
? Experience with Azure Data Factory: Must have experience designing and implementing Azure Data Factory solutions for the purposes of training and advising others in the practical usage of the platform for large data migration efforts in preparation for implementation.
