Role: Sr. Azure Administrator (IaaS/ VMware)

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6+ Months

Client: Navient

Visa: USC Only

Process: Phone/ Skype

Key Responsibilities / Skills:

1. Build and configure VMware vSphere infrastructure.
2. Support Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Must be able to provide after-hours and weekend on-call support as part of the rotational staff.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related technical degree, or equivalent practical experience
2. 6 years overall IT experience. 2-years senior level

Experienced with:

• Cisco UCS environment
• Active Directory Support exp
• Azure AD/Azure Entra ID exp
• Experience in building, configuring a VMware vSphere infrastructure
• Experience in supporting Azure IAAS
• Supports VMware, Azure IAAS, Active Directory, Azure AD

Notes from the hiring manager

Must have skills:

• supporting VMware infrastructure
  • VMware admin person leaving
  • 200 VM ware hosts
  • General care and ?? of that environment
• Build out environments
• Must have worked on troubleshooting issues in VMware infrastructure
• VM infrastructure a requirement
• More of a Sr person in VMware
• Azure and/or Active directory bonus in that order
• He has two teams one does active directory the other server ???
• Runs on UCS hardware
• UCS a plus not required but bonus

Start asap because of cross training

If available now can start before holidays if not first of the year

Interviews:

• VMware admins will interview with Jeff
• First round will be general interview feel them out
• Part of the 2nd interview will be technical questions from his admins
