Job Title – Salesforce Architect
Location – Atlanta, GA (Local Candidates)
Duration – Long-term Contract
Contract – W2 and C2C
Key Responsibilities:
• IES Gateway Integration: Design and implement comprehensive integration solutions between Salesforce and IES Gateway, ensuring reliable data synchronization and process automation.
• Solution Architecture: Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions that effectively leverage IES Gateway capabilities for grant management and financial reporting.
• System Integration: Create robust integration patterns using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools to establish secure data flows between Salesforce and state systems.
• Technical Leadership: Guide development teams in implementing integration solutions while ensuring adherence to both Salesforce and state system standards.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure solutions meet federal and state security requirements, implementing proper data protection and audit mechanisms.
• Business Collaboration: Partner with DECAL stakeholders to gather requirements and translate complex integration needs into technical solutions.
• Grant Management: Design solutions that leverage IES Gateway for streamlined grant processing, financial reporting, and compliance tracking.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all integration components, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and security protocols.
Experience:
o Minimum 7+ years in Salesforce architecture and development roles.
o 2+ years’ experience with government system integrations.
o Proven experience with state-level eligibility systems or similar platforms.
Technical Skills:
o Expert knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and integration patterns.
o Strong experience with API design, web services, and ETL processes.
o Proficiency in integration technologies (MuleSoft, SOAP/REST APIs, middleware).
o Deep understanding of government eligibility systems and grant management processes.
Essential Certifications:
o Salesforce Certified Application Architect
o Salesforce Certified Integration Architect
o Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I:
Optional Certification:
o Salesforce Certified Data Architect
Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work with government stakeholders.
• Strong project management and documentation abilities.
• Leadership qualities to guide cross-functional teams.
• Analytical approach to solving complex integration challenges.
Preferred Experience:
• Previous experience with state-level system integrations.
• Knowledge of federal grant management requirements.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies in government projects.
• Experience with DevOps practices for Salesforce (CI/CD pipelines, Gearset, GitHub).
