HIL Validation engineer :: Dearborn, MI (Onsite) :: 12 Months Contract

Position: HIL Validation engineer

Location: Dearborn, MI (Onsite)

Duration: 12 months Contract

 

Role Description:            

  • Understand requirements of vehicle systems, platforms, and features
  • Discuss with Customer teams and get the clarification on requirements if needed
  • Develop Design Verification Methods against requirements
  • Develop test scripts against DVMs in Python or CAPL etc.
  • Analyzing the Failed Test cases and identify where the problems are
  • in test case, software, calibration etc.
  • Take complete ownership of the work assigned in terms of quality and timeliness
  • Ensure correct version control mechanisms used? Timely escalation of issues and risks

 

Competencies:  EIS : Embedded Digital Hardware Design and Development

 

Experience (Years):         4-6

 

Essential Skills: 

  • Knowledge of automotive sub-systems (at least one of Powertrain, Climate, ADAS Body etc.)
  • Experience in HIL validation
  • developing tests from requirements, and executing test cases on the HIL rigs
  • Knowledge of DSpace Control Desk, Automation Desk
  • Familiarity with calibration Tools like ATI Vision
  • Working knowledge of Matlab Simulink for understanding and updating plant models as needed
  • Basic understanding of wiring schematics? Working knowledge of Python scripting

 

Required Education: At least a bachelor’s degree( or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
