Role Overview:

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an experienced Solution Architect specializing in Cloud Technologies across AWS, Azure, and GCP to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms and a strong understanding of regulatory domains with experience in VEEVA. The Solution Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure that cloud architecture aligns with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Cloud Solution Design: Architect and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, and GCP.

·       Cloud Strategy Development: Partner with leadership to develop and execute a cloud adoption strategy that aligns with business and technical objectives.

·       Multi-Cloud Architecture: Design and optimize multi-cloud architectures to ensure high performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.

·       Application Migration: Lead efforts to migrate on-premises applications to cloud environments with minimal disruption.

·       Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions meet industry security standards (e.g., encryption, IAM, network security) and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).

·       Automation & Optimization: Develop strategies for automating infrastructure deployment, scaling, and monitoring using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure ARM templates.

·       Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work with development, DevOps, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions into CI/CD pipelines and operational environments.

·       Performance Optimization: Continuously improve cloud architectures for performance, cost-efficiency, and fault tolerance.

·       Cloud Service Evaluation: Stay up to date with the latest cloud services, tools, and features, and recommend solutions that align with business needs.

·       Governance & Best Practices: Implement governance frameworks to ensure consistent application of best practices, including cost management, tagging, and cloud-native service use.

·       Disaster Recovery & High Availability: Design disaster recovery plans and high-availability architectures to ensure business continuity.

·       Mentorship & Training: Provide guidance to technical teams on best practices in cloud computing, security, and automation.

Required Experience:

·       10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with 5+ years focused on cloud solutions architecture.

·       Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP for architecting and deploying cloud applications.

·       Proven experience in cloud migration projects and designing hybrid cloud environments.

·       Expertise in building and maintaining complex multi-cloud architectures for large enterprises.

·       Deep knowledge of cloud-native technologies (e.g., serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions), containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and microservices architectures.

·       Experience with Governance and Compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to industry regulations.

Technical Skills:

·       AWS: Expertise in services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudFront, and VPC design.

·       Azure: Proficiency with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

·       GCP: Familiarity with Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

·       DevOps & Automation: Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and cloud automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

·       Security & Networking: Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, VPN, DNS), IAM, encryption, and identity management.

·       Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Stackdriver) and logging frameworks.

·       Database Expertise: Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases, including DynamoDB, CosmosDB, and Cloud SQL.
