We require a proficient Legacy .NET Specialist tasked with the upkeep and progression of established .NET software applications. Your duties include collaborating with our technical team and key project players to comprehend project demands, executing updates, and ensuring robust and efficient functioning of our longstanding .NET solutions.

 

Core Duties:

• Sustain and aid ongoing legacy .NET frameworks, affirming their continuous steady, high-performance operation.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot anomalies within aging codebases, crafting effective resolutions for intricate technical impediments.

• Aid in the transition and enhancement processes of archaic .NET applications, partnering with the technical infrastructure division to guarantee a smooth changeover with negligible impact on daily procedures.

 

Essential Skills and Credentials:

• Demonstrated proficiency in .NET development, predominantly in outdated frameworks like ASP.NET Web Forms, Windows Forms, Silverlight, MVC, MVVM, Razor, Blazor, SSIS, Classic ASP, and WCF.

• Expertise in coding languages and frameworks pertinent to old-world .NET development, specifically in C#, VB.NET, and the .NET Framework.

• Thorough comprehension of diverse software creation approaches, including Agile and Waterfall, coupled with the flexibility to integrate varying project demands.

• Extensive grasp of database concepts with practical experience in managing relational database systems such as SQL Server.

• Prior exposure to rejuvenation strategies for software, including code revamping, system restructuring, and shifting applications to cloud-based solutions, is favorably regarded.
