Role: Python API integration with Collibra ADI and Collibra Data Governance

Location: NewYork- NY

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Python Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java and Python.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices in software development.
• Develop back-end services, APIs, and data pipelines to support data governance processes.

1. Collibra Integration & Configuration:

• Work with the Collibra data governance tool to manage data cataloging, lineage, quality, and metadata management.
• Integrate Collibra with other internal tools and databases, ensuring seamless data flows across platforms.
• Customize Collibra’s features and configure it to align with organizational data governance strategies.

1. Data Governance Support:

• Implement data governance policies and workflows using Collibra to ensure compliance, data quality, and security.
• Support the creation and maintenance of data standards, data stewardship, and business glossaries.
• Work closely with data stewards and business users to ensure data quality, lineage, and metadata are accurately represented.

1. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

• Work with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between the technical systems and data governance needs.
• Collaborate on data integration and management solutions, ensuring that all data governance policies are met.

1. Troubleshooting and Optimization:

• Identify and resolve issues in data governance workflows, integrations, or software applications.
• Optimize data processing workflows to ensure efficiency, scalability, and performance.

1. Documentation & Reporting:

• Create and maintain documentation related to the development of Java/Python applications, Collibra integrations, and data governance policies.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress and technical issues.

1. Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Ensure high-quality code through unit tests, integration tests, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that developed applications and Collibra workflows function correctly and efficiently.
