Job Title: Workday Absence and Time Tracking Consultant

Job Overview:
Jade Global is seeking a Workday Absence and Time Tracking Consultant to join our team on a remote basis. The consultant will be responsible for the configuration and optimization of Workday solutions, specifically focusing on Absence Management, Time Tracking, and related functional areas. This is a key role in ensuring that Workday configurations align with client needs, enhance HR processes, and provide valuable insights through reporting and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Workday Configuration & Optimization:
Act as the primary authority and owner for Workday configuration within the defined functional areas, particularly Absence Management, Time Tracking, and related HR processes. Lead the design and shaping of business process architecture.
· Business Requirements Analysis:
Work closely with stakeholders to understand and interpret business needs, transforming them into scalable and manageable Workday solutions. Ensure that requirements are met with optimal configurations and processes.
· Independent Project Ownership:
Lead functional projects related to Workday Absence and Time Tracking. Provide subject matter expertise in data management and reporting, ensuring that each project aligns with business needs and delivers value.
· Reporting & Dashboards:
Leverage Workday’s reporting and dashboard capabilities to create insights for stakeholders. Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards, ensuring the accurate presentation of data.
· Training & Support:
Provide training to Workday users, ensuring that they understand and can effectively use the Absence Management and Time Tracking modules. Support the continuous improvement of HR services and workflows within Workday.
· Continuous Improvement & Enhancement:
Stay up-to-date with new functionality and product enhancements in Workday. Implement new features and configurations that drive efficiency and improve service delivery for HR teams.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
· Experience:
4-5 years of experience working with Workday HCM and functional areas including Recruiting, Absence Management, Time Tracking, Reporting, Dashboards, and EIBs. Experience with Workday configuration is essential.
· Functional Expertise:
Demonstrated ability to act as a subject matter expert in the areas of Absence Management and Time Tracking, including the ability to translate business requirements into effective Workday configurations.
· Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Workday HCM configuration, including advanced knowledge of Workday Reports, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, and EIBs.
· Additional Areas of Knowledge:
Knowledge of Compensation, Security, and Time Tracking modules is a plus. Familiarity with other Workday modules is also beneficial.
· Consultative & Analytical Skills:
Strong consultative and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
· Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Microsoft Office Skills:
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (functions, pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, etc.). Familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools is a plus.
