Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement Solution Architect / Senior Consultant to lead and optimize procurement processes for maintaining equipment and systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing and maintaining specialized machines, equipment, and tools used in pharmaceutical environments, such as gloves, coats, specialized machines, computers, and software.
This is not a traditional SAP Plant Maintenance role but focuses on the overall maintenance and lifecycle management of critical assets used in the pharmaceutical manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for indirect procurement and maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of specialized tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement and maintenance processes for gloves, coats, specialized machines, and software used in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships to ensure the timely supply of essential maintenance items and equipment.
- Design workflows and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective maintenance operations.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve the maintenance and procurement ecosystem in the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications:
- 20+ years of experience in indirect procurement and maintenance in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong expertise in managing maintenance operations for specialized machines, equipment, and software.
- In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing environments and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex maintenance challenges.
- Proven ability to collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to achieve optimal maintenance and procurement outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with systems and tools used in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Prior experience in roles involving lifecycle management of pharmaceutical equipment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage and mentor teams effectively.
