Job Overview: As a Data Scientist you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement advanced data models and analytical solutions. Your expertise in building predictive models, analyzing complex datasets, and providing strategic support will help identify and explore new opportunities within analytics. With your strong technical skills in Snowflake, SQL, Python, and AWS, you will enable data-driven insights that drive key business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Predictive Modeling & Analytics: Build and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms using Python to forecast trends, identify opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
• Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, correlations, and insights that can drive business improvements and opportunities.
• Data Management: Utilize Snowflake for efficient data storage, transformation, and management in cloud-based environments, ensuring data integrity and scalability.
• Database Querying: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Leverage AWS tools and services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, Redshift) to build scalable, data-driven solutions, automate workflows, and streamline operations.
• Strategic Support: Work closely with business stakeholders to provide data-driven recommendations and strategic insights that explore new opportunities within analytics.
• Collaboration: Partner with engineers, analysts, and product teams to define data requirements, build solutions, and deliver actionable insights.
• Reporting & Visualization: Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate data findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and continuously enhance processes, models, and methodologies to improve business outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases, ensuring high performance and data quality.
• Advanced programming skills in Python, with experience in data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse, including data modeling, ETL processes, and optimization techniques.
• Expertise in building predictive models and utilizing machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Proficiency with AWS tools and services (e.g., S3, Redshift, EC2, Lambda) for managing data, building solutions, and deploying machine learning models in the cloud.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods, data mining, and machine learning algorithms for real-world applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle large and complex datasets, drawing insights that inform business strategy.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to exploring new opportunities within analytics and providing strategic insights that drive business growth.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience working with real-time data streams and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of big data platforms such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus.
