Position: SAP Control Tester

Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ months

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Control Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing SAP controls and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley). This role involves evaluating, documenting, and validating SAP controls across various modules, with a focus on risk assessment, security, and compliance. The SAP Control Tester will work closely with internal audit, compliance teams, and SAP specialists to support ongoing audit and compliance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct SAP Control Testing: Perform detailed testing of SAP controls to ensure they are operating effectively and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support SOX Compliance: Evaluate controls for SOX compliance, focusing on IT general controls (ITGC) and application controls within the SAP environment.
• Risk Assessment & Audit: Identify potential risks and weaknesses in SAP control processes, documenting findings and making recommendations for improvements.
• Test Plan Development: Create test plans, test cases, and procedures to verify control effectiveness, covering both automated and manual processes.
• Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with audit, compliance, IT security, and SAP teams to resolve control gaps and ensure control objectives are met.
• Document Findings and Reports: Prepare clear documentation of control testing procedures, results, and recommendations, providing detailed reports for management and stakeholders.
• SAP GRC and Security Compliance: Utilize SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) to monitor and validate access controls, segregation of duties (SoD), and other compliance aspects.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in SAP control testing, compliance, or audit.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., FICO, MM, SD) and experience with SAP control environments.
• Experience with SOX and other regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with IT General Controls (ITGC) and application controls within SAP.
• Proficiency in SAP GRC for access control and risk management.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certification in GRC or relevant modules.
• Experience in other ERP control environments (e.g., Oracle) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating across teams.
