Position: Validation Engineer

Location: Los Angeles Metropolitan Area- Onsite

Duration: 12 months

Visa: No H1b

 

Domain: pharmaceutical industry

 

The Validation Engineer will be joining a team of around 13 engineers (core team) to execute validation protocols for an expansion project in Los Angeles. This role will be focused on executing validation protocols for equipment including filter presses, centrifuges, and large processing tanks. The facility supports fractionation of blood plasma (closed process so engineers not exposed to plasma). This will be for a 1-year contract, with very high likelihood for extension. This role is onsite daily with no remote flexibility. This will be located in the N. Hollywood/Glendale area.

The client is on a tight timeline right now, they're in the documentation phase so everyone is working 40 hours/week but eventually 24/7 support will be needed from the team so Validation Engineers may be requested to support other shifts.

Top Requirements:

  • BS degree minimum
  • 1-4+ years of Validation Engineering experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Must be strong in executing validation protocols.
  • Need to understand P&IDs and lockout-tagout procedure
  • Strong skill set in installation and IQOQ of equipment like centrifuges, filter presses, and processing tanks
  • Very strong technical writing/documentation skills
  • Very strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience doing job walks with engineers for capital projects
  • Must have a positive attitude and ability to multi-task
