Things this project will entail: Operational surveillance Extract data – related to how much the APIs is being used, their performance, the times, return codes, failures, customers (who is using it) – a lot of different Data There are Several different dashboards They are going through an exercise; they have a ton of different products that all log this info differently…So they are: 1. Going across different products and saying, we need to normalize what you are sending in a log data 2. We need to create pipelines and different things to enrich the data, enrich it, create their own operational surveillance index and metrics 3. The metrics will then be used to create various machine models for anomaly detection – try to predict potential outages or predict reduction in usage from customers for whatever reason
So, this involves DE in the beginning, some designing of the machine learning and prototyping in the machine learning THEN over time spend more time in the DS as the data matures
GenAI will come into the picture when they are in the phase where they travel more into the Data Science portion A lot of learning and monitoring – incorporate it into the anomaly detection GenAI will come in when they open up to asking GenAI things about the data
Key piece being that elastic component
