Job Description:
High-Level Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, low-latency, scalable data APIs.
- Deploy and manage microservices in AWS.
- Refactor code to improve reusability and build internal libraries.
- Write tests and improve test coverage.
- Resolve issues related to data pipelines.
Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in designing and developing Data ETLs & REST APIs.
- Proficiency in Java and AWS cloud ecosystem (S3, CloudWatch).
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience in developing microservice solutions and large-scale, enterprise-grade applications.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Secondary Skills:
- Experience with distributed system concepts and non-functional requirements like logging, monitoring, debugging, alerting, and performance tuning.
- Ability to work quickly while writing clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Strong work ethic, commitment, and ownership.
